Hey dugonline. Saw this on Whazel's feature. I've been a huge fan of her's fora while now, and figured it was about time to stop by and meet the other half. I'm on a catch up mission at the moment. But I'll add you to my watch list so's I'll be back.
Tis series is sweet., BTW, Have'nt pick a fav of them all. But this one is awesome enough to start.
ahhh its a long yet rewarding process that I plan to have a tutorial up for soon enough. I just need to find the time to finish making it. If you look in my gallery under Polar Panoramas, you will see more!
I like the one you have with the waves crashing on the rocks. I have been looking for a location so I can do something similar.
There are some differences in our processes however. Its a little hard to explain precisely at this time, but I invite you to see the tutorial I am working on and will have posted as soon as it is ready. It gets rid of the effect in polarizing that makes it look like things are being sucked sharply into the center. I think you have a good enough idea on how to do this, that if you did it the same way as me, you would have some seriously SWEET planets yourself.
Thanks for the comments, and I look forward to your input when I get the tutorial up on how I make mine.
