Another old one that I needed to submit. The big hold up on this one was the amount of work that needed to be done. Funny thing is that is wasn't a lot of work. It is multiple images stitched together. 4 or 5 pics total. I forget at this moment. I am tired.
More ice shards gathered on Lake Superior this past winter. A pretty sunset in January.
SO beautiful! love those ice shards more than the smooth planes you usually get, they just look more 'ragged' befitting a freezing winter. oh, and of course the golden tint of the sunset makes this one irresistible for me!

My advice to you is dress warmly, step carefully and always always always consider safety.
With that in mind, I hope you do get to see it one day. Plan a vacation in February to Duluth for your best odds of seeing this. Of course you can always message me to find out what the lake conditions are like. I am out there at least once every week. I love this lake. Love it.

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

It looks so neat, and I'm not sure why, but I really love the noise it creates.
